Great breezy day under the bridges. We found some new tents but we left late due to a retreat being in action and hold everyone up, we missed alot of folks we normally see in camps.
No violence issues.
We did find a fire burning in a camp and the two folks in thier tent asleep. I poured water on it,
casue it was burning up the tree next to it. I informed the camp next to it to
watch it before the City comes down and gets them all.
Its funny how the guys who used to live under the 5th ave bridge really hate this guy named murphy. Yea hes greedy and rude but still we take him stuff. When they see us they tell us
"nobody is there so dont bother even going over there at all, ok"
like children they are.
We done the Old folks home with the Butterfly Ministry as well, and spent some time with Chi Chi and Sandy. Had folks ask us if we could come back more often. Cards were given, socks went over well, real well. These folks are real desparate and really have nothing to look foreward to. We met s dude who had a stroke and told us about his 1996 silverado truck..he had to sell it but in his mind he is driving it as we speak..
Thanks to all who came out and played well.
