A really nice day i must say, Sunny and warm compaired to what weve had for 3 weeks straight now. One camp had 5 week kittens and my daughter like that. Yes it was mothers day and for my wife i took her out under the bridges and down the trails. I really wanna thank those that came out on this holiday, Gavin, Deanna, Christi and the little expeditors Madi and Cole and our security Maximus.
I did hear that the Police were looking for a black dude named Eddie and they may have ran folks off during that search. No other detalils other than that.
Everybody was nice and receptive. Alotta folks not at camp today, dont know where they were didnt see many out walking.
Ramen noodles and little debbies was the hit of the day. Vienna wieners also. We was at the last camp area for about 40 minutes just talking and fellowshipping.
The warehouses where the murders occured have been demolished, as well as the scale house and scale. Good thing we took pics or nobody would ever believe those buildings stood. With all the twisted metal i figure the scappers will be scavaging tomorrow.
We were asking folks why were they hungry and it seems the local missions aint feeding like they used too and have made new rules like, that if you go to one mission your not welcome at thiers. Really? So its a competition for fundz now? So sad when hunger is an after thought. Oh well i know a few churches that have picked up the slack on Govt funded institutions. Which in reality is what the churches are supposed to to in the first place.
Imagine if all the churches in Knoxville started a rotation to help the Homiez? I mean run a facility like KARM or VMC...With no Govt money at all. No big salaries. Instead they send most money overseas to care for folks just like we have here....10 minutes away.
